PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT CAMP AT ITANAGAR
Vivekananda Kendra Arun Jyoti, Branch Itanagar  organized a five days Personality Development Camp for the students of Class 8th to 12th from 24th to 28nd March at VKV Nirjuli, Itanagar. The main motto of the camp is to give future leaders a positive direction and to inculcate patriotism, Cultural value, self discipline and the attitude of Social Service, with the twine ideal of Vivekananda Kendra “Man Making - Nation Building” through the various sessions on Yoga, Drama, Tejas, lecture, concentration, memory development games & group discussion.
A total of 90 participants from various schools  took part in the camp. In all 7 sessions were taken on various topics for the personality Development of an individual.
The Camp was introduced by Shri Taba Tatup, Prant Karyalaya Pramukh, Arunachal Prant. He welcomed all the participants in the camp and advised to take the benefit of such camps. He also exhorted the participants to carry forward the positive attitudes, good personalities and set an example in the society.
Dr.Mika Umpo, Microbiologist & Head of IRL (for TB), Directorate of Health.Services  took a session on “Time Management”. In his session he mentioned that punctuality is the mother of confidence as `Time tides waits for none` and doing things as we desire in a selected time is called time management also said for today’s generation do the right thing in the right way at the right time.
Shri C.C.Namchoom, Asst Professor, D.N College took session about “Patriotism in Action.” He stated that changing yourself for the betterment of your own society and Nation, Love your country.
Shri Tara Dajam, Nagar Pramukh, Itanagar gave a lecture on the topic “Our Culture-Our life-Our Pride”. In his lecture he informed that the way of our life, culture is the set of belief system and it includes our attitude, systematic discipline. You should know our culture and must be faith on your in god,
duty to preserve our culture in our day to day life. Should not be fallow converted rule.
Shri Lobsang Tashi, Yuva Manch Pramukh, VKAJ, Itanagar concluded session on “Great Personality”. In his session he discussed about characters of great persons of our country, personalties are responsible for to make great persons and these good qualities are  confidence, Trust in own, Honesty, Enthusiasms, Discipline and Aim. He told on thoughts of Swami Vivekananda “You have to grow from inside no one can teach you, none can make you spiritual. There is no other Teacher but your own soul.”
 Shri Tako Siga took session on “Vivekananda Kendra in Arunachal Pradesh”, he summarized what exactly does VK in A.P. Shri Eknathji Ranade did a tremendous work in education through VKV. “Education is the manifestation of the perfection already in man.” Education is not the amount of information that is put into your brain and runs riot there, undigested all your life. Vivekananda Kendra imparts education, man-making, character-building, assimilation of ideas. He discussed his own experience in Kendra and his contribution for society through Kendra.
  Dr. Lala Wage, Dental Surgen, took a session on the topic of “Health and Hygiene”. In his session he viewed that without health, life is not life, it is only a state of languor and suffering. He  suggested that Yoga is the best way to keep you healthy, and he explained dental hygiene play a important role for your health.
Concluding session was taken by Shri Ashok Atale, Nagar Sangathak of Vivekananda Kendra Itanagar, briefly explained what our country now wants are whole devotion for your country, gigantic wills which nothing can resist, and increase your strength from inside the body, like Veer Savarkar. He suggested that what  was taught in the five day camp to improve oneself, and for the development of the Nation is to be applied in the our daily life.
PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT CAMP AT DAPORIJO
APORIJO, Mar 19: With the mission taught by Swami Vivekananda of  ‘Man Making - Nation Building’, the Vivekananda Kendra Arun Jyoti, Daporijo branch organized a three days residential camp for youngsters of class VI to XI standard from March 10 at VKV Kuporijo. Around 30 participants from various schools took part in the camp, which had lecture sessions on character building, time management and development of an extrovert attitude taught by invited resource persons. Activities like meditation, yogabyas and memory capacity development were also conducted during the camp.
