GITA JAYANTI CELEBRATED VKAJ ITANAGAR

Vivekananda Kendra Arun Jyoti, Itanagar celebrated Gita Jayanti on 22nd December, 2013 at Vivekananda Hall, Ramakrishna Mission Hospital. The program started with three Omkars followed by “Shanti Mantra”. The students of V.K.V. Vivek Vihar chanted the slokas from Gita for Daily Life. After this, a Quiz Competition was conducted on Gita by Shri Akal Bayor, Vivekananda Youth Prayer Centre, Pramukh, Itanagar, which the participants took part very enthusiastically. Suryanamaskar Display by the students of  V.K.V. Chimpu. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Kesang Wangdi, ENT specialist, Heema Hospital, Itanagar, appealed the audience to imbibe the message of Gita in practical life, through which true development of personality comes. Continuing the discussion, Dr. Ashok Kumar Pandey, Proff. Dera Natung Govt. College and Prabudha Bharat Pramukh SVSSS Itanagar,  stressed the importance of Gita and said that it can be the solution for every problems of life. He further added that great personalities like Mahatma Ghandi, Shri Aurobindo Ghosh, Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, Albert Einstein and many more were influenced by the teachings of Gita. Shri Kalyan Dutta, Mahanagar Pramukh Itanagar, introduced various activities of Vivekananda  Kendra in Arunachal Pradesh & Vote of thanks by Shri Tara Dajam, Nagar Pramukh, Itanagar.

GITA JAYANTI Celebrated at Itanagar

GITA JAYANTI Celebrated at Itanagar by Vivekananda Kendra, ArunJyoti, Arunachal Pradesh, INDIAVivekananda Kendra Arun Jyoti, Itanagar Branch celebrated GITA JAYANTI on 11th December 2011 at the School Campus of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Vivek Vihar with the samskar varg students, teachers, parents and kendra's karyakartas with total participants of nearly 90 people. The celebration started with a prayer which was followed by chanting of Slokas from Gita for Daily Life by the students of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Vivek Vihar which was performed in unison.

Su. AlakaGauriDidi speaking on GITA JAYANTI at Itanagar by Vivekananda Kendra, ArunJyoti, Arunachal Pradesh, INDIALater, Su. AlakaGauri Didi speaking on the occasion, dwelt in length about the origin of the celebration and the importance of the Gita in our life. She called upon the participants to imbibe the message of Gita in daily practical life which teach us how to over come the difficulties in our day-to-day life and what is virtue in life and informed the gathering that, Gita in true sense is a guide to a meaningful life which some people misunderstand it as a merely a religious book. the celebration ended with a prayer for the peace of whole world.
