Guru Purnima Programe in Various Prayer Centre

2nd August, 2015: Vivekananda Kendra Arun Joyti, this year also conducted Guru Purnima Programe in Various Prayer Centre of Arunachal Pradesh located in all the District In all six places of state capital the message of Guru-Shishya Parampara was conveyed. The Guru Purnima is celebrated on the eve of birthday of Maharishi Ved Vyas who has collected and compiled the voluminous store of in depth Knowledge of indigenous faith discovered by seers over the ages, which was on the verge of extinction and started Gurukul system. To preserve and protect it he considered Father of the family as Guru in a Micro level.
In Central Nyder Namlo, Doimukh. Shri T.T. Tara DDSE spoke on the importance of Guru Purnima and Shri Nabam Atumji felicitated the Revered Priest Shri Techi Rintu of Rono village Nyeder Namlo and Shri Tana Tath of Kheel Nyeder Namlo.
In Nyeder Namlo, Pachin Colony, Naharlagun. Vivekananda Kendra Karyakartas took active initiative and felicitated Priest. Revered Priest Beloved Tadar Sonu was felicitated by Shri Kalyan Dutta, Mahanagar Pramukh, Vivekananda Kendra, Capital Complex and Shri Taba Tatup, Prant Karyalaya Pramukh for his remarkable contribution in the welfare of people in Arunachal Pradesh. While speaking on the Importance of the day Shri Kalyan Dutta pointed that this is the Day to remember our whole tradition of Guru starting from Ved Vyas to offer our respect to the Guru to Guides us in life, who has handed over the tradition of knowledge and wisdom to us. This is also a day to express our gratitude and commitment to the Guru for carrying forward our culture vibrantly with the vision of Krinvanto Vishwamaryam-Let us make the whole world Noble.
He appealed all the father and mother of the family to maintain quality of Guru to make a child an Ideal Citizen of the mother land.
In Naharlagu Nyeder Namlo at E–Sector Priest Smti Gyamar Deriang was felicitated by Shri Rekhi Tana Tara, Chairman Central Nyedar Namlo, Arunachal Pradesh.
In Hollongi Nyeder Namlo Priest Shri Dur Talo Camdir was felicitated by one of the Senior teacher Shri Pankaj and Shri Romin Rava, Karyakarta of Vivekananda Kendra.
In Donyi Polo Gangging, Itanagar also Vivekananda Kendra conducted Gurupurnima function. The celebration was started by the chanting of prayer by Taabe (Priest) Shri Tamak Komut. The importance of the day was highlighted by Dr. V.N. Sharma, State Liaison officer, NSS who is also a Vivekananda Kendra Karyakarta. He also felicitated Revered Taabe Mukge Tayeng of Donyi Polo Gangging at Itanagar.
In Meder Nello E-Sector, Itanagar. Revered Priest Milo Tanyo was felicitated by Shri P.N. Singh, Senior teacher. The Meder Nello committee member welcomes all the Kendra Karyakarta with Khada (muffler) as a mark of respect.
Guru Purnima should strengthen our resolve. Thus, the occasion should reflect the solemnity, clarity and also divine touch to make deep impressions on the mind – to awaken the need of furthering our tradition and energize them to work for it.

SAMSKAR VARGA PRASHIKSHAN SHIVIR, ITANAGAR

          Vivekananda Kendra Arun Jyoti, Itanagar organized five Days Samksar Varga Prashikshan Shibir specially designed for the Capital Complex Karyakarta’s from 21st to 25th April 2014 at Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Itanagar. There were 27 participant consisting 16 brothers and 11 Sisters. Shri Taba Tatup (Prant Karyalaya Pramukh A.P) inaugurated the Shibir.
           The Shibir schedule was from 4.30am to 10pm, in which various activities were taken, like Yoga, Gita for daily life, creativity session, games, workshop, Samskar Varga and  Prerna se Punurutthan. Various sessions were taken by Taba Tatup (Prant Karyalaya Pramukh A.P.), Shri Kalyan Dutta (Maha Nagar Pramukh, Itanagar), Shri Tara Dajam (Nagar Pramukh, Itanagar), Shri Ashok Atale (Nagar Sanghatak, Itanagar) on subjects like “Bharatmata,” “Vivekananda Kendra in Arunachal Pradesh”, “Eknathji and Vivekananda Rock Memorial (VRM)”, “Samskar Varga Kyu? Aur Samskar Varga Kaise?”and “Our culture, our pride, our life.”

PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT CAMP AT ITANAGAR
Vivekananda Kendra Arun Jyoti, Branch Itanagar  organized a five days Personality Development Camp for the students of Class 8th to 12th from 24th to 28nd March at VKV Nirjuli, Itanagar. The main motto of the camp is to give future leaders a positive direction and to inculcate patriotism, Cultural value, self discipline and the attitude of Social Service, with the twine ideal of Vivekananda Kendra “Man Making - Nation Building” through the various sessions on Yoga, Drama, Tejas, lecture, concentration, memory development games & group discussion.
A total of 90 participants from various schools  took part in the camp. In all 7 sessions were taken on various topics for the personality Development of an individual.
The Camp was introduced by Shri Taba Tatup, Prant Karyalaya Pramukh, Arunachal Prant. He welcomed all the participants in the camp and advised to take the benefit of such camps. He also exhorted the participants to carry forward the positive attitudes, good personalities and set an example in the society.
Dr.Mika Umpo, Microbiologist & Head of IRL (for TB), Directorate of Health.Services  took a session on “Time Management”. In his session he mentioned that punctuality is the mother of confidence as `Time tides waits for none` and doing things as we desire in a selected time is called time management also said for today’s generation do the right thing in the right way at the right time.
Shri C.C.Namchoom, Asst Professor, D.N College took session about “Patriotism in Action.” He stated that changing yourself for the betterment of your own society and Nation, Love your country.
Shri Tara Dajam, Nagar Pramukh, Itanagar gave a lecture on the topic “Our Culture-Our life-Our Pride”. In his lecture he informed that the way of our life, culture is the set of belief system and it includes our attitude, systematic discipline. You should know our culture and must be faith on your in god,
duty to preserve our culture in our day to day life. Should not be fallow converted rule.
Shri Lobsang Tashi, Yuva Manch Pramukh, VKAJ, Itanagar concluded session on “Great Personality”. In his session he discussed about characters of great persons of our country, personalties are responsible for to make great persons and these good qualities are  confidence, Trust in own, Honesty, Enthusiasms, Discipline and Aim. He told on thoughts of Swami Vivekananda “You have to grow from inside no one can teach you, none can make you spiritual. There is no other Teacher but your own soul.”
 Shri Tako Siga took session on “Vivekananda Kendra in Arunachal Pradesh”, he summarized what exactly does VK in A.P. Shri Eknathji Ranade did a tremendous work in education through VKV. “Education is the manifestation of the perfection already in man.” Education is not the amount of information that is put into your brain and runs riot there, undigested all your life. Vivekananda Kendra imparts education, man-making, character-building, assimilation of ideas. He discussed his own experience in Kendra and his contribution for society through Kendra.
  Dr. Lala Wage, Dental Surgen, took a session on the topic of “Health and Hygiene”. In his session he viewed that without health, life is not life, it is only a state of languor and suffering. He  suggested that Yoga is the best way to keep you healthy, and he explained dental hygiene play a important role for your health.
Concluding session was taken by Shri Ashok Atale, Nagar Sangathak of Vivekananda Kendra Itanagar, briefly explained what our country now wants are whole devotion for your country, gigantic wills which nothing can resist, and increase your strength from inside the body, like Veer Savarkar. He suggested that what  was taught in the five day camp to improve oneself, and for the development of the Nation is to be applied in the our daily life.

SADHANA DIWAS CELEBRATED

Vivekananda Kendra, Capital Complex organized Sadhana Diwas (The Birth Day of Mananiya Eknath Ranade, the founder of Vivekananda Kendra) on 16th November 2013, In advance due to some unavoidable circumstances. other wise the birthday fall on 19th November 2013. All the Karyakarta of Vivekananda Kendra, Right from Saha Prant Pramukh Dr. Tejum Padu and Principal with teacher of VKV's and all the Karyakarta were present in the Utsav. Among one of the five major Utsava’s of Vivekananda Kendra “Sadhana Diwas” was also celebrated at  R.K. Mission Conference hall, Itanagar.
The Programme started with three omkar and Geet “Hum Anuyayai Eknath Ke “ By Shri Akal Bayor, Vivekananda Youth Prayer Centre Pramukh. The Gathering was Welcomed by Shri Taba Tatup, Prant Karyalaya Pramukh, Swami Vivekananda Sardha Shati Samarom, Arunachal Prant.
While Speaking on the life sketch of Mananiya Eknath Ranade on Power point Presentation Shri Kalyan Dutta, Mahanagar Pramukh, said that karyakarta need to follow the example Shown by Eknathji through his Tyag aur Sewa and determination to achieve the target as planned for the Completion of Vivekananda Rock Memorial at Kanyakumari along with building up of memorial with flesh and Bone called Vivekananda Kendra. He said in spite of all the hurdles and resistance, Eknathji was always positive in his thought process to give a momentum to the twin Ideal of “Man Making and Nation building”. Eknath Ji always insisted Karyakartas and others to imbibe in mind that “THEY ALONE LIVE WHO LIVE FOR OTHERS, REST ARE MORE DEAD THAN ALIVE” and “EACH SOUL IS POTENTIALLY DIVINE”. Then followed by display of Documentary film on Construction of Vivekananda Rock Memorial at Kanyakumari.
Shri Tara Dajam, Nagar Pramukh, Itanagar briefed the audience about the  activities of Vivekananda Kendra in Arunachal Pradesh like Arun Jyoti Project, Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya & Vivekananda Kendra Institute of Culture Arunachal chapter.

Dr. Tejum Padu, Deputy Director higher and technical education Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh and Saha Prant Pramukh, Vivekananda Kendra Arunachal Pradesh delivered ”Key note Address“. He said  we must get ready  to prepare ground for the forthcoming Mananiya Eknathji Ranade Shatabdi Samaroh from 19 Nov 2014 to 19 Nov 2015.  He also said that the faith in God means faith in oneself. Thus we should not be blaming society/fate for all the misfortune but should develop ourselves, raise ourselves, take responsibility on our shoulders to work like lions. The Dharmik Jagaran or spirituality is not merely religious activity but it is feeling one with the Virat, with the people. And therefore with all conviction and determination to  give our committed time and energy for serving the society. This is real Sadhana – worshiping the Virat with our selfless actions. He also Spoke about importance of “Sadhana Diwas” and  advised that the Sadhana of teachers, professional, students and common man should not be in gaining materialistic things rather then ones Sadhana should be to see others for better up-liftment of society and nation in general.
Shri Ashok Atale, Nagar Sangathak VK Itanagar briefly explain about the Karyapadhdhati, Other service projects of Kendra, the types of Karyakartas like Sthanik Karyakarta, Vanaprasthi Karyakarta, Sevavrati Karyakarta, Jeevanvrati Karyakarta. Pariposhak schemes through Patron drive and detail planning of VK Arun Joyti project etc. Entire Programme was well coordinated and anchored by Kum Bobita Tayam. The programme ended with Shanti Mantra.
