Personality Development Camp at Itanagar

Under ARISE! AWAKE!! Competition – One Day Camp was organized at Green Mount School by Vivekananda Kendra, Arun Jyoti Itanagar branch. From four schools of the capital 59 students participated in this programme. This camp was basically conducted for the students to develop personality & enlighten their youth power .Programme started with lighting of lamp and prayer followed by introduction, Games, Geet & Yoga. The Session: "Personality Development" was delivered by Shri Kalyan Dutta,(J.E., P.W.D.) Nagar Pramukh in which students were told about the potential of India & the inspiring idols of India like Swamiji. Among participants group discussion were Conducted by Smt. Higio Aruni (Founder,Green Mount School) & Kum. Jyoti Panki. Students were informed about the up-coming Three Day Camp (PDC) "Arise Awake and know your strength" on National Youth Day.

Samartha Bharat Parva

Vivekananda Kendra Arun Jyoti has conducted an Exhibition on Samartha Bharat, Hanuman Mandir, Ganga Market (Itanagar) on 2nd-3rd January 2012 on the occasion Samartha Bharat Parva There was presentation of banner and posters highlighting the latest achievements & uniqueness of our country. There was also exhibition of inspiring books based on Swami Vivekananda's life & message, history and culture. The main motto of this "Samartha Bharat Parva" is to generate awareness among masses about the greatness of our motherland & feel the pride of being Indian. This parv also aims today’s youth to know the potential of Bharat & work for Man Making - Nation Building, which was the dream of Swami Vivekananda. Visitors were pleased by the presentatmion & the knowledge they received.
